Introducing The Light-Track Knit Short from Empty Reference. We sought to create a state of dress: close-fitting yet pressure-free, casual yet structured, as if freezing a moment of motion within the calm of everyday wear. The fabric is a refined 85% cotton, 15% polyester knit blend. It inherits the breathability and skin-friendliness of cotton while gaining better shape retention and elastic recovery from polyester, ensuring freedom of movement and resistance to sagging over time.

The visual focus and soul lie in the two straight white webbing tapes along the outer seams of each leg. They are not mere prints or trim, but substantial functional webbing material spliced onto the shorts. These twin “light tracks” start near the waist and extend crisply to the hem, redefining and reinforcing the leg line in an architectural way, creating a visual slimming and guiding effect.
